The Chromium Factory is a Legendary Tier resource depot that drops 1 Chromium every 20 seconds. This is by far the most power hungry early Normal Mode depot as it consumes 200 BU! When first using this, there needs to be a minimum of 10 fully powered Obsidian Oil Vaporizers placed down. Chromium is mainly used as an alloy ingredient for Nichrome.
In extreme mode, this item is much easier to power due to the existence of Thermal Magma Cells. However, it has a WAY higher cost-especially with the 100k Coal requirement.
This Chromium Factory was remodeled in the 11/20/20 update.
