Granite is formed when congealed magma, underground, slowely cools. Minerals such as quartz have the time to slowely grow inside this congealed magma. Normally, granite contains 20% quartz and up to 65% alkali feldspar. However there are many types of granite with different compesitions and minerals.
Granite is a common used resource in extreme mode. It's most commonly required by energy producing items in the shop. It is recommended to keep some granite dropping throughout start and mid phase of extreme mode.
